Our Story

Nuffins Bakery began in the kitchen of the Scott family out of pure necessity. When two members of the family were diagnosed with Celiac disease, it turned their world upside-down. So many changes and so much to learn! At that point, it was either figure out some food alternatives or be doomed to a life of fruit plates and meat & cheese platters.

We quickly got to work pouring through book after book and website after website searching for answers, information, recipes and products for living gluten free. Very little was available at the time which left the alternative of creating new recipes, tasty meals and baked treats from scratch at home.

Much has changed since those first days of overwhelming helplessness after being diagnosed. Several years of trial and error resulted in a variety of basic baking mixes and flour that can be used to create an endless variety of recipes and treats. These mixes and recipes became what is now Nuffins Bakery, where we proudly share these creations with you and your family.
